1A. AI-Powered Tools and Conversational Data

When you interact with our services through AI-powered tools (such as our ChatGPT application), we may receive and process the text you submit, including questions about the PakLaunch community, events, membership, mentorship programmes, investment opportunities, and networking. Your inputs may also be processed by third-party AI platforms, including OpenAI, in accordance with their own privacy policies. We do not permanently store conversational data unless necessary for customer support, security, or legal compliance.

2. How We May Use Your Personal Information

2.1. You consent and agree to provide us with information when you sign up to PakLaunch. PakLaunch will also collect information from all of its users about their use of the Website. Any information on users or their use of the Website is subject to the PakLaunch Privacy Policy. By using PakLaunch, you consent to use of that information and warrant that all information provided by you is accurate.

2.2. We use information other than Personal Information, including aggregated or anonymized information, for ad targeting, to analyse trends, administer our services, diagnose problems with our servers, track user movement and gather demographic information for aggregate use. Third party ad platforms may use this information for a similar purpose, but you should follow up with third parties and confirm their information collection and usage practices directly. We may freely publish, disclose and use information other than Personal Information, including aggregated or anonymised Personal Information, to or with third parties.

2.3. We may use your personal information to help us improve our services and to get in touch with you. PakLaunch will not sell, trade, or share personal information collected online from Users with third parties. All personal information collected by PakLaunch will only be used internally and exclusively within our team.

2.4. In the event that we engage with third party service providers in connection with our Website, PakLaunch may share Personal Information with such service providers who need access to such information to carry out their work for PakLaunch. Other than such service providers, PakLaunch does not share Personal Information with third parties unless (1) you have indicated that you wish to receive information from such parties; (2) you otherwise give us your consent to do so; or (3) in response to a request for information.

Our services may also operate through third-party AI platforms, including OpenAI, which processes user inputs submitted through our ChatGPT application under its own terms and privacy policies. Other service providers we use include website hosting providers, email and communication platforms, payment processors, event management tools, and analytics providers.

3. Transfers of Information

3.1. Information about our users, including Personal Information, may be disclosed as part of any merger, acquisition, debt financing, sale of company assets, as well as in the event of an insolvency, bankruptcy or receivership in which Personal Information could be transferred to third parties as one of our business assets. In such an event, PakLaunch will attempt to notify you before your Personal Information is transferred, but you may not have the right to opt out of any such transfer.

4. Cookies & Analytics

4.1. The user is aware that a “Cookie” is a small piece of information stored by a web server on a web browser so it can later be traced back from that particular browser, and that cookies are useful for enabling the browser to remember information specific to a given user, including but not limited to a user’s login identification, password, etc.

4.2. If you leave a comment on our Website you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

4.3. If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

4.4. When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. 7. How Long We Retain Your Data

7.1. If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

7.2. For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

7.3. Typical retention periods include: user account and profile data for the duration of the account plus 1 year after closure; event registration and membership data for up to 3 years; contact and inquiry data for up to 2 years after last contact; comment data as long as the comment remains published; analytics and cookie data as defined by our analytics provider settings; and conversational data from AI interactions for up to 30 days unless required longer for security or legal reasons. When personal data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

8.1. PakLaunch endeavours to secure your Personal Information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure by putting into place reasonable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard the information we collect. Additionally, your account information is accessible online only through the use of a password.

8.2. No security measures are perfect or impenetrable. To protect the confidentiality of your Personal Information, you must keep your password confidential and not disclose it to any other person. You are responsible for all use of the Website by any person using your password. Please contact us immediately by emailing us if you believe your password has been misused. You should also note that email is not secure, and you should not send any confidential or sensitive information to us via an unsecured email.

9. Lawful Use Only

9.1. Furthermore, the user warrants that it will not, by any method or action, directly or through a third party seek to artificially enhance, degrade, or otherwise manipulate the recommendations or endorsements of any user, individual, or group on PakLaunch including the user’s own.

10.1. If you have an account on this Website, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
